The Side by Side Festival / Festival Côte à Côte is Canada's only festival entirely dedicated to literary translation. We feature writers and translators reading side by side in different languages, workshops for beginners and experienced writers and translators, and panels on questions of language, creative writing and art. Special programs for children in immersion classes and francophone minority youth are also offered throughout the fall. The festival is based in Fredericton, but we also organize events in Moncton. The theme of the 2010 edition of the festival is
